 What Are Cancer Cells? 🧫

Now, let’s talk a bit about cancer cells. Did you know that we all have cancer cells in our bodies? It’s true! Our bodies are made up of billions of cells, and sometimes, when they grow and divide, a few of them don’t develop correctly. These abnormal cells are what we call cancer cells.

Usually, our immune system is really good at finding and getting rid of these cancer cells before they cause any trouble. It’s like having a security system that catches a small problem before it turns into a big one.

Here’s how the immune system and cancer are connected. Your immune system is always on the lookout for anything that’s not right, including these abnormal, or cancer, cells. When your immune system is strong, it can recognize and destroy these cells before they have a chance to grow into something bigger, like a tumor.

But if your immune system is weakened—maybe because of poor nutrition, too much stress, or lack of sleep—it might not catch all of these cancer cells, allowing them to multiply and grow. This is why it’s so important to keep your immune system strong!

 How to Keep Your Immune System Strong 🌿

Here’s what you can do to keep your immune system strong:

  • Eat a Healthy Diet: Load up on fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, and seeds to give your immune system the nutrients it needs to work well.
  • Stay Active: Regular exercise helps improve circulation, which in turn helps those immune cells move around your body faster.
  • Get Enough Sleep: Sleep is when your body repairs itself and strengthens your immune system.

Manage Stress: High levels of stress can weaken your immune system, so it’s important to find ways to relax and unwind.
